It Starts With You

Composting at Caldwell’s Farm
The composting process begins as soon as your organic waste is hauled from your facility. Materials are blended with corn stalks and livestock manure to create a nutrient-rich compost that supports healthy soil and responsible reuse.
Fertilizing and Growing Crops
Finished compost is applied directly to our fields, enriching the soil and creating optimal conditions for crop growth. This step returns valuable nutrients to the land while reducing reliance on synthetic fertilizers.
Supporting Livestock
When appropriate, organic by-products are used to support livestock feeding programs at our farms. This keeps nutrients in circulation and ensures materials are put to responsible, productive use.
Reusing By-Products
After harvest, leftover corn stalks are baled and livestock manure is collected to fuel the next composting cycle. When the next load of recycled organics arrives from your operation, the process begins again.
